Ciudad Dorada Elderly Complex
Ciudad Dorada is an elderly community provided with 108 units in the Congregate Housing area and 40 one or two-bedroom units in the independent living area. The facilities are designed and intended to encourage residents active participation in the community life. The administrative facilities, mini-mart, medical care and pharmacy are located at the entrance to the Complex adjacent to the four structures that comprise the Congregate housing. Congregate housing are arranged around a plaza for passive recreation and to promote interaction among residents mimicking the town plazas. The common areas such as the clubhouse facilities, the gym, spa, swimming pool, cafeteria, croquet, tennis and basketball courts are centrally located between the independent living and the congregate housing and connected by trails. Trails provide jogging path but also service routes for golf cart to service all units for security, maintenance or for emergencies. Independent living homes are duplex with their carport that are also connected to the central station in the administrative facilities to attend to the residents needs or any emergency. The development provides a secure relaxed environment for residents, visitors and staff.
